My Job Was My Purpose
Call me a workaholic but I'm really missing my job this weekend! After 5 years in the wedding industry I've grown to love perfecting all of the little details on a wedding day. It has become so fulfilling to host a flawless wedding for my brides. It's more than just a work day, for them it's a day they will cherish, a day that creates memories that will be displayed on the wall for years. I am soooo blessed to witness the magic that happens during a celebration of love. I miss the preplanning when I get to create excitement for the bride when envisioning her big day. I miss meeting the family and interacting with the bridal party and flower girls during rehearsal. I miss working closely with my team as we set up while laughing and listening to music. I miss that intimate moment where the bride & groom have their first look!! (My favorite!!) I oddly miss that pain in my fingers after pinning 15 boutonnieres before the ceremony.
