BOLD, Be~YOU~tiful, and Perfect

I had the honor of being chosen as one of the women included in the Bold, Beautiful, Perfect blog series. This shoot represents a time in my life where I owned my self-worth and started to become my true authentic self without excuses.

A bit of what I shared in the blog... "I used to struggle to see my beauty from comparing to others and not feeling like I was enough. I've had issues with self-worth and seeking validation from external sources instead of going within to see my inner beauty. I've allowed others to make me feel small and use to let fear control me instead of standing tall & strong. 

Now I hold my head up proudly and feel comfortable in my skin. I am unapologetic about my confidence and stand firm in who I am. I challenge myself to share my personality through social posts and am growing into the person I've always wanted to be. Now, I’m my own best friend, cheerleader, motivational coach, and spiritual guide. I walk this journey with more certainty and hope to leave a beautiful legacy behind me for other women to feel proud to shine bright."

The photoshoot associated with the Bold, Beautiful, Perfect blog was such a wonderful experience! Not only did it remind me of my awesomeness but it helped me find pride again in my multi-faceted personality and what I have to offer & share with the world. Brandi Stage & Kasper have a way of encouraging & nurturing the gorgeous goddess you hold within. The inner beauty was brought to the surface as I felt myself transform from the outside in. 

Make-Me-Up 

The pampering experience of the soft strokes with a makeup brush was so therapeutic. We spoke of my beauty journey of being confident in my skin, connecting over shared feelings of doubt and became friends by the end of the session. Kasper's personality & makeup had a way of bringing the diva out in me by creating a beautiful look that matched my bold and versatile style. With shadows and shades accentuating my beauty in ways that reminded me what a touch of color & eyelashes can do for a girl's inner goddess. 

Looks to Match My Versatility  

I chose five outfits that fit my versatile style. I questioned whether or not to go Big and Bold and was reassured when Brandi picked out more sequins for me! I loved the opportunity to show all the different sides of my personality. 

The professional look was familiar from many years in the career world surrounded by white collars, stripes, and fitted business suit jackets. 

Cocktail dresses is something I've been missing during Corona being away from my dream job in weddings where I could dress up for my events every weekend. 

Sassy in sequins... Brandi pulled a black sequin dress from her collection which brought the bold & sassy Aries out in me. I was fun and playful for this shoot because my authenticity is sexy. 

A Rose gold formal dress created a soft & sweet look for me that showed my grace and femininity.

And my most favorite look was a bohemian style with a touch of country and my acoustic guitar which has been an extension of my soul. 

This was an invaluable experience for me!!
